I really appreciate all the comments. I am going to purchase the MC6000MK2 from Guitar Center in the U.S. this weekend for $699. Should I pay additional $100 and get the extended warranty on this controller from Guitar Center? Denon has the standard 1 year parts and labor warranty.

Hi all, one more question on this before I pull the trigger on the MC6000Mk2. As you all know, MC6000Mk2 doesn’t have performance pads. Are these required for a mobile wedding DJ or is this a personal preference? Cheers!

Thanks everyone! I did a little bit of research on the MC6000MK2 online and will check it out in the store this weekend. So far I like what I am reading and hearing from you guys!

Thanks for clarifying DJ Vintage. Yes, I want to get into mobile DJing for weddings which will include using couple of mics.

I did not look at the Denon MC6000 because in the Controller guide it was listed under Virtual DJ. However, I see that Denon DJ MC6000MK2 is supported by Serato as well so I will look into it. Appreciate the suggestion!

As a beginner, I don’t think I will be scratching anytime soon. Will stick to the basics and beat matching with EDM and Bollywood music.
