Thanks for the reply. You have kind of backed up my own thoughts on it all. My new additions are designed to run during the daylight hours so the music will probably be loud enough for them to hear anyway. But I am also trying to future-proof my setup at the same time. I have toyed with the idea in the past of splitting the audio lead and using headphones directly cupped over the fixtures own microphones.
Ideally, one day I will invest into a package of lights that are all designed to work together and get rid of the older equipment.
