Stuff ready? nope, because of the style i play i can drop in the first track, then the second, then the third then the first then the third then the second, eject one, mix inbetween two and three while beatmatching one, and so forth.
Sample decks are for acapells snippets and air horn samples.

Look up reaper, its $40 if you earn less than $20,000 p/a from production. I havent actually bought it yet, as i do own Ableton and FL Studio, but every review i have read has said good value for money and all the youtube videos look ace.

Shortest was around 2 minutes, the guy before me was abusing fx really badly and wasnt killing his lows, then i went to transition out of his last track and the main amp blew. still got paid tho

and my longest was just over 8 hours solid, thought i was ready to die, i played nearly every genre under the sun and when i was finished i slept for about a day.

+1 on the traktor audio 2 DJ, its litterally the best and smallest 2 channel card on the market, and is good enough for club gigs, heck, i use one for my smaller gigs 🙂
You use one channel as your main out, and another as your headphone cue, this lets you listen to your track through your headphones and beatmatch it into place, then when your ready, either using a controller, or just your mouse, fade your track in and hopefully it will still be in beat,

And abusing EQ’s ? not a beginers thing mate 🙂 its all about your style, you think it sounds good and your not abusing the track too much? go ahead and have fun with it 🙂

Another thing about the Audio2DJ is you can hook it up to an external mixer, and use the mixers own headphone out for cueing, i started off with a $40 behringer 2 channel and absolutely loved the thing, and it means you can have a real feel on your EQ’s and your fading

Watch videos online of big name DJs DJing, prefferably from inside the booth, i havent had time to listen to your mixes but a bit of advice is watch other djs. Ive seen Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox and Avicii live inside the booth and watched hundreds and hundreds of videos of other DJs just doing their thing, subconciously you will learn when to start intro’ng your track and when to mix in/out.

Also, commercial is a hard thing to DJ, ive been doing it in a residency for 6 months now and i still make cock-ups occasionally.
