    The benefit of having Mikro MK1 or Maschine MK1 is not having the magnets for holding the faceplate.
    (metal particles gather in your gear?)

    Thnx Terry,

    It’s a nice setup indeed… but I’d rather wanted a Xone DB2 or DB4 mixer, unfortunately they don’t come with the FX send/return and I use the RMX-1000 a lot.

    8 out of 10, the controller was really nice but the software crippled (Virtual DJ LE)
    Installed the software and drivers, hooked up the gear and was ready to rumble… great.
    But since I had so much time time left compared to vinyl and the software was crippled I got a bit bored at first.
    After the upgrade to full version it was really fun 🙂

    Traktor Pro 2.6.1.
    Why? MIDI sync in/out and MIDI clockcontrol. (synced to NI Maschine and various stand alone hardware) and the software feels good to me.
    (didn’t have that feeling with Virtual DJ or Serato.. although I must say that I really liked Virtual DJ’s beatmasher)

    Well..uhh… I’m already living my dream.
    The 4Tracktrigger.

    I’m DJ’ing without jogwheels at the moment… but I’m thinking of a purpose build jogwheel-controller for those rare occasions that I might be wishing to have one. (I’m not into scratching)
    That would be a single DDJ-SX jogwheel, buttons for deck a-b-c-d and buttons for “key” “vinyl” and “flux” mode for Traktor….

    Indeed the DDJ-SX is a nice peace of gear.
    There’s only one thing that I personally don’t like and that is the different resistance in the faders.
