    Ya school is overrated… just a tad! Lol and we actually got my mom the same computer but with an i5 and she had a panic attack from win8 and the Metro, quite funny actually… Coming from XP and hating any sort of change. Thanks for the help!

    I used to produce a little, open up an Operator and mess around with it, once you find what you like write some midi chords and youre set. also use google and youtube, lots of stuff there for help

    Just found a Reloop Mixage IE Refurb for 170 from mixware.net; may jump on this and hope for the best with win8 and if it doesn’t work, dual boot or just run winXP on it.

    Thanks! I looked up the reloop mixage, so far I like it better than the Mixtrack, but I just upgraded computers, and ‘upgraded’ to Win8 and I don’t think it’s capable. But there is a program to run win7 and maybe I can just set up another user with 7 just for djing? Or maybe I have it wrong.

    And I don’t get how I can DJ off of ableton; I looked it up, I think I’d rather just save and splurge on another program.
