listening while coding i’ll comment as it plays:
really really really really nice first track. sounds like “metal” trance. not at all cheesy which I find in a lot of trance.
so far after 10 minutes sounding really good and smooth.
nice gradual mix at 15 , i would’ve cut a tiny bit off the mids of the outgoing track to make more space for the incoming hi hats.
25:20 you can cut out the out going track, i think you brought it back in though im not sure what you did.
26:42 a bit of an iffy mix. the track or (or loop) is off beat but ok i guess, it seems superfluous anyway.
29 nice effects, keep it tight ie. exactly till the drop, or whenever desired, but that takes a lot of practice.
whats with the looping? seems to have kept coming back since ~27 or is part of the track, i cant figure it out.
keep things simple and coherent.
35 i wish it wasn’t such a sweet high pitched mix but that’s a matter of taste.
47 i could see why u did the looping twice, not needed, imo, but sounds cool.
48:15 very abrupt mix but perfectly legitimate. can be smoother but still good. i’ve seen top DJ’s stopping one mix or bunging up the beat for a few seconds to drop on the next track and if its a good(contextually fitting :)) track, an abrupt change it can be hugely effective.
1:03 nice
it’s really pretty good (too bad its trance music though)
