    I’m a big petrol head, or I used to be back when I could afford it lol.

    I currently drive a Lexus IS300, just some bolt on mods, nothing serious.

    My last car however was a bit of a beast, I won’t list all the mods but I spent well over £15k just on the engine! 380bhp 430lb/ft Subaru Impreza STi

    I loved that car, it was faster than you could possibly imagine, could beat pretty much anything on 4 wheels and even scare those on 2 wheels. It was too impractical in the end though and alas I let her go, to a good home though. Seriously though I was getting like 17mpg and it was ridiculously uncomfortable and noisy, but by god it was fun to drive 🙁

    Nah! Who am I kidding, I love being a drum n bass DJ! There’s too many techno DJ’s already. Dunno if could fit both into a set lol.

    My Jan mix will most likely be back to DnB. I’ll do a techno special from time to time 🙂

    Youre right about the first mix though, it shoulda been shorter but I couldnt be bothered doing the whole thing again! Its the first techno mix I’ve done in years, I think I’m gonna make techno my main focus again. As much as i love DnB music, i dont really like DnB culture so I’ll continue to listen to DnB but as far as DJing goes I’m done with it. Plus it’s quite telling that my techno mix had twice as many listens and likes on SoundCloud within 24hrs than my DnB mixes got in a month!

    It is a techno mix, the first couple of tracks are electro so I said techno and electro so as not to upset any techno purists lol.

    I don’t mind a bit of Umek but he’s more Tech House than Techno. All good though.

    Track at 31.00 is Skeksis by Alan Fitzpatrick 🙂

    Yeah I liked that, not a bad mix at all. A bit more jumped up than my own sets but still good. Plus ‘Tonight’ is one of my favourite tracks ever!

    It’s funny, I don’t know him at all but we were both featured in iDJ magazine at the same time (may 2001), he won the readers mixes and I was runner up. He has since went on to be one of the biggest breaks DJ’s and label boss of the highly regarded Sub Slayers record label. As for me, well if you read my post in “introduce yourself” you’ll know what became of my DJ career.

    I do chat with him on twitter and stuff, but I don’t know him personally.

    Yeah that first track is one of his remixes, and its sooo much better than the original!  Most of his newer stuff is a bit more chart friendly than when I started liking him, but it’s still excellent stuff.

    Here’s one of his newer tracks, and I can assure you this track sounds amazing live!
