    yeah, bishalmallick09@gmail.com is spamming the expletives out of your forums right now with links to some bollocks. Just a heads up, he’s just spammed most of the topics I started, I got notified of the new posts via thunderbird. Peace.

    and the posts continue, great stuff guys, much appreciated!

    @Terry, Thanks bud, listening to it now while I type this, to be quite honest its a beautiful mix and I really love the vibes, Phill is one hell of a DJ! first time listener, very impressed, I look forward to hearing more from him, especially the cafe del mar work if its available.

    @DJ Cheeku, I would not say House and Trance is a weird combo, different styles, tempos and vibes sure, but they’re both 4/4 time signature, both 4 beat rhythms, both emphasize the down beat… anyway I commend you for playing both styles. Besides I like weird combos, like Igorrr and his tendency to mix breakcore dnb with classical music and death-metal, pure magic. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    As for getting signed, I highly recommend you look at signing with my friends label ‘Any & All Records’ it only takes a quick message from the website and the contract is rendered void the moment you want it to be or go to sign to a ‘proper’ label, it simply serves as a means for ‘unsigned’ artists to be able to say that they are indeed, signed to a label. Check it out and you’ll understand what I mean. As for my label, I haven’t the capacity to sign other artists yet and probably won’t for many years, though starting your own independent label to release your own works on in the future, I would definitely recommend doing if you aren’t afraid of a bit of business world learning & hard work. Regardless, I wish you all the best with your career ๐Ÿ™‚

    @DJ Plazma NICE ONE BRUV!! good to see someone representing hardstyle. SMF – HaHa (Hardstyle Remix) being one of my favourites. Hardstyle got me learning C-Walk & ‘The Melbourne Shuffle’. That stuff is good for the soul.

    Seeing as you’re a Hardstyle aficionado, you might appreciate this, these are the local (Australian) guys that inspired me to get shufflin’ to hardstyle & other genres.

    Moonboy & Abangben doing synchronized shuffle,

    Francis (MVS),

    And a blend of C-Walk & Shuffle from ‘sonic’ wish I could find the one where he does a running front flip and starts shuffling the moment he lands on his feet, but this one is good too,

    Peace everyone, cheers for contributing!

    lol, and now I know!
    guess its similar to how goa trance got its name then..

    u got any ace mixes you wanna point me too tezza?
    would b gr8 to here this style done properly, and a mix that is deemed good by someone who is a fan & dj of the genre himself too.. being yourself.. I could dig myself but I really wouldn’t kno what to look for..

    dammit, I said drop but I meant the build up leading to the drop… its all symbiotic anyway…

    @Daryl

    @Terry

    Cheers guys! great responses ๐Ÿ™‚

    Terry, I’ve never heard of belearic before I’ll have to look that one up!

    Daryl, I hear ya about the drop ๐Ÿ˜‰ as a producer its one of the most fun challenges I face, one drop variation that I quite like is kind of like a ‘reverse’ build up, loud to quiet rather than quiet to loud, example a gradual high pass/low cut on the drums till they get all hi perc sounding.. as long as you use something else like an increase in pitch or whatnot u can still build that anticipation..

    thanks again everyone, I look forward to reading more, but for now its back to the mountains of work I still have left to do!

    Peace.

    ah well then I do indeed see the positive cultural effects you speak of, and I agree, also its good to see that LSD is making a comeback having been approved for trials in therapeutic use, etc. Another would be research into MDMA for the use of treating PTSD in retired soldiers. Good drugs being used in good ways for good things.

    Lol, I think this topic has been well and truly derailed but I’ll respectfully make this my last post.
    As for my reaction, as I said, I may have over-reacted there, for the reasons explained; but I’m a bit eccentric anyway so there’s that too… I was worse as the conspiracy theorizing teen tho, saw TPTB and conintelpro everywhere… everywhere that of course they weren’t. ๐Ÿ˜›

    finally on the symbol thing, yes macabre indeed, and Bill Hicks would definitely agree with you ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Good luck with the comp’ if I knew anything about house I’d give you some feedback, but I don’t so can’t comment really.

    Peace!
