cool, will do. 😉
twicxMemberhmmm… sounds tricky. out of interest, would it be worth my while to send it off to a bunch of labels? It seems to me that there’s no harm in doing so, right?
twicxMemberHmmm… That sounds interesting! I had a look at their site, and they have a good variety of acts. I managed to get some help organised with getting my downmixes done. Someone with proper monitors etc too, who’s done some producing of their own. I might take you up on that in the next couple of weeks, but I would assume that the better the quality of the tracks are (in terms of mastering) the better it would be. Might be worth my while to get the mastering done really well before I send it off, right?
twicxMemberCheers buddy. Yeah I actually only realised today what the problem was, after I listened back at the original. I’ve sinced fixed it, but I haven’t gotten a chance to re-upload it. The feedback is appreciated though. 😉
twicxMember@KierenJames and @Terry_42 I think you guys are right. I already have a working knowledge of Ableton, so maybe what i really just need to do is practice more, get some more gigs, and just hone my skills at ableton.
twicxMemberI think it’s just a bit of a lack of motivation. Between the hard drive, the gigs and the controller thing, I’m just a bit pissed off. I just need one gig to get me back on the buzzwaves. Think I can play live with this on my smartphone? http://bit.ly/1oo3eO
twicxMembersee, it was grand when I was in uni, cos I could always get a houseparty gig, but I’m not back in uni till january, so I’m hedging my bets on bars and clubs. It’s very annoying though. People that say they’ll help you don’t.

Good: Sound quality, durability, comfort, price, retro looking.
Bad: Often associated with dirty smelly hipsters.twicxMembercan we expect any new features with the new server?

acapellas4u.co.uk, and search for 212. Then it’s the one called “dirty acapella.” Enjoy. 😉

This is relevant to my interests. Elaborate plz!!!
edit:
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
http://blog.dubspot.com/syncing-ableton-live-traktor/twicxMemberyou three all put the point i was trying to make into much simpler, clearer terms! hahaha!
I agree with all 3 of you. It really comes down to how it’s used. Prude leRude hit a good point. Claiming it as your own is just disgraceful. Terry’s point on the Steve Vai thing is interesting. Didn’t Coldplay get sued by Satriani for something like that?
At the end of the day, samples are really an aid or a tool. It’s like saying “oh everyone uses sylenth and massive!!” Maybe so, but I bet they all use it differently. maybe I’ll make a piss-take video on the do’s and dont’s of samples :p
twicxMemberViking nailed it. Just do that with your current one imo. Buy a bigger hard drive if you need it.
twicxMemberThe first one is probably the best tbh. I was going to write a big tl;dr thing on how to keep your windows pc in tip-top shape (my second laptop is 6 years old, no firewall, antivirus etc, and it’s as fast as day 1, simple upkeep) but I’d be here all day.
try pcspecialist.co.uk . I’ve gotten a laptop from them, as has my bro, and they’re both phenomenal.
twicxMembernever mind! I figured it out in Sylenth.
For anyone interested, if you overlap 2 notes, and turn the slide mode to legato, it’ll just slide between those two notes. 🙂
