Thanks to everyone for the input. I am grateful…Still leaning toward the DDJ SX2 but want some more feedback and to do a bit more research on both these pieces. I think I would do well with either of them since they can both act as stand alone mixers as well for using CDJ’s or even turntables. Looking at the specs for the DDJSX2 at 26.14 inches and weighing in at over 12 pounds…this thing is massive! DJ Hardcort, thanks for mentioning the flight case…I forgot about that part (extra weight).

    Thanks again to everyone,

    Karlton…

I’m using h Yorkville YSM5’s. If you’re just playing in the bedroom they will do a really nice job. They’re clear and can crank up to

I like the Yorkville YSM 5’s. Nice compact and clear studio monitors. XLR and 1/4″ bijack input. They run about $175.00 USD each. Bottom line is what your ears tell you. Everyone has their own preference. Hope that helps.

I use the Yorkville YSM 5 active monitors. they are very clear, not too bassy, can crank it up in a small space, and are very reasonably priced. But, everyone’s ear is different, but I would definitely give them a listen.

Thanks for the advise, I appreciate it. I do use a Pioneer RMX 500 as well (sorry forgot to mention that). So, I use the ports on the computer for the controller and the RMX, everything else is going to be plugged into the hub.

    Thanks again,

Thanks for the input. I think waiting for a while to see what happens with the stems format is the right move.

    DJ Vantage,

Thanks so much for the advise. I didn’t realize that changing software meant I would have to redo all the cue points and everything else! That kinda makes this a no brainer! I know I asked quite a bit in my last post but one more question…if I were to still want serato software and purchased it now (because I don’t have alot of cue points loops and stuff yet), do you think serato and virtual dj would conflict with each other on the same computer, I use a PC.
Thanks again for sharing the knowledge…it is appreciated.

    Karlton
