Yeah I agree the best way is to have the track time counting down to zero but it’s up to you. Although I am new to using a laptop for Djing I like the features on screen and I get two read outs. One counts up the other counts down, so see if you can get that option on screen.

Yeah I own the NS7:2 and strongly recommend it. You don’t need to go for this controller if you are used to turntables. This is as hi tec as anything out there, as for it being heavy I like that, its a sign of quality. Remember techniques they are heavy. I tried couple out since owning the Numark and it’s my favourite. If you go for the NS7″2 you can get screens for it which is the only real difference between them (NS7:3.

im glad i came across this discussion, so on a similar level as the original post. What exactly is the criteria regarding needing a license to play publicly? i have no idea how this works or what is required of me,in terms of what i need to do.Do i apply for a public performance license?or is it a yearly license like TV or is it applied for every time i get offered work (i haven’t done any events”YET”just starting out and fully aware that work doesn’t just fall in your lap) so do you apply for them separately? I’m in the UK so if anyone is kind enough to take time replying to my question maybe need to take in the fact of my location might have differing regulations than say the USA.

HEY There….i had to comment.if im not mistaken you produced this right? well i know how difficult it is using the software to create music and it sounds very much like a professional job. im more into my house these days over trance but i still love my infected mushroom memories. Nice to see your keeping it alive …peace out to you my friend and well done..

HImy names Allan.i read your post and in my opinion it sounds like he may want to use your mix as his set ,or at least part of it.Another thing you could do if you let him play your mix to the croud ,make sure he tells the crowd the tunes they are bouncing to are yours.i just started out to.Got myself an Numark NS7,11 im in love with some electronics as it is truly amazing.i had never used all this up to date digital software before. infact the last time i mixed with my own set was back in the early nineties on a pair of techniques twelve tens.the good thing with the Numark is the turntable with real vinyl and slipmats so take it from me they feel like you are using turntables. There direct drive with adjustable torque settings to get that just right weight feeling brillianti highly recommend the Numark.well thats enough from me,hope to hear from you.

Hello! I have just joined and you are the first person I have messaged. Anyway my name is Allan…..I’m from London England as if you wouldn’t know 🙂 the thing is, is that I am a wanna be Dj. I had decks years ago around 1987 to 90, and I lost everything. Ever since I have wanted to get a nice set and start again but never did. Now I’m forty and I finally got myself a NS7.11 and I love it… Anyways I will shut up now and say thank you for your time and hopefully we will correspond.
