    Me personally i don’t see nothing wrong with it,
    The opportunities was knocking and you opened up the door for it wide open, keep doing it like that…
    Plus, the way you did it, it didn’t cost you anything, and you didn’t lose anything from it, you actually gained something from it
    Keep on the look-out for something like that again happened… while you looking around for some actual gigs

    I know how u feel, its irritated me also if no1 commented or even listened to the tunes I made, just looking at my soundcloud account and starrin at the play icon when it just had 0 digit lol
    But give it time, relax, enjoy the journey, if you built it they will come

    As you get into the College, keep in eyes on some Spring Break dance event, they usually hired some DJ to do it, make contacts to that DJ, might gets to play on the upcoming Spring Break fest…

    And ow yeah another thing is Networking, go out there found out who’s who the local DJ’s in your area, get to knows them, be humble and friendly guy,
    Sometimes they do an event or two, who knows they be like hey man you wanna spin in our event?

    IF using CDJ’s a mandatory, i mite as well leave the controller at home, save you the hassle, and just show up with your headphone and cd case

    And IF this is the very first time you using the CDJ’s, eh I dont think it something that you can learn on the fly, kind of risky imo, since you need to know at least the inner working of the CDJ’s, and manual beat-matching

    It was a good read (thus i was bored at work =p)
    Hey maybe you can share your photograph tips and tricks in the club environment,as in how to get close up shot of the DJ spinning, with no flash, what ISO to use, at what shutter speeds, so the picture wouldn’t come out all blurry and stuff
    I’m sure many of us would love to see it !!
