    OK, soz. (The post wasn’t very old, as far as I can see, MiK hasn’t resolved the issue and the other posts in the topic reported a very similar problem so I thought their information would be useful.) But noted for future posts 🙂

    So… any ideas would be really, really appreciated 🙂

    Thanks. I really want some of those direct drive Numarks but I think I’m gonna have to think smaller.

    I’m jealous Terry. Extra inspiration to keep practicing. In the past I have nicely persisted in my request for turntables and always got them (as I still hate CDs with a passion) but it has cost me. I dream of the day when I’m I’m as good as you so the clubs will ask me what gear I would prefer….

    Thanks for those crucial bits of advice guys. I’ve also just seen a similar new article on the main site and between these you guys have saved me from investing in the wrong bit of gear (I had been planning on finally selling my faithful old 1210s to finance it) ! I was hoping for a way to escape clubs’ rinsed pitchfaders and panic of dvs (plus other outboard gear ) setup between djs but I’m clearly gonna rethink all of this… 🙁

    I ____ it :p Some nice bouncy crispness.

    As as attempt at constructive criticism (which is presumably why you’ve posted it)…
    I especially like: –
    1. the sonics and the way the elements nicely lock together and play off each other;
    2. the swing and crispness of the basic drum pattern;

    .. and my (admittedly amateur) ears would additionaly like to hear:-
    1. just a likkle touch of a drum break or some kinda run when transitioning between sections;
    2. little bit of build to the major section;
    3. and, in the main section, maybe a little extra layer of drums/perc/bubbling keys to give it that lil extra bit of lift;

    I think with just those very minor tweaks, I’d play it out.

    Nice one

    Tbh I’ve never investigated any of those except for the sp. I’ll check em out and hope I can use em to play my Ableton produced stems in a similar way. But I’ll steer clear of messing w the firmware and get a second piece of hardware if nec until I’m convinced I can fully transition. Thanks muchly!

    Heheh. Yeah, I want to but it’s my understanding I can’t use The Bridge with SDJ… Is that still the case?
    Or do u know of anyway to replace it? Thats pure gold to me.
