Only 16gb on mine as well. I’ve been waiting to make the jump until I hear more about the drop box feature as well. I usually just sync a playlist or two on my iPad though and keep my music on my iPhone or comp. Would be nice to be able to use your library from iTunes match…?
EpicDJMemberlol – i love how puffy its tail got when it started going around lol great video.

Also check out Renegades of Jazz, probably won’t fit into the evening you’re playing at, but it’s cool stuff nevertheless:
https://soundcloud.com/renegadesofjazzThanks for the recommendations i’ll check them out tomorrow for sure 🙂
EpicDJMemberI would never take a deal such as this one. The club knows how much they are typically making, you do not. I would try and negotiate what you spoke of or a flat amount. These types of ‘deals’ are a win win for the club and a lose lose for you in my opinion.
EpicDJMemberAwesome, thanks man, definitely helps.

I’m sorry, that literally made me LOL. “any other incredibly generic song you can think of that has no soul”. Awesome. lol
EpicDJMemberWow, definitely gonna have to learn the keyboard shortcuts on Traktor so I can do something similar. Amazing.
EpicDJMemberI agree w/ Terry. As a police officer, I personally wouldn’t be going after the DJ for contributing (yes I might be biased), but technically, at least in my state (not DC) anyone over 21 could be charged…typically the home owner or person hosting the party would be charged. But I agree for sure w/ Terry, if you had something in writing even if you were cited I would think that any judge would throw it out.
EpicDJMemberJust an update, LOVE these headphones. Great sound isolation and great sound in general 🙂
EpicDJMemberNot to play my event up or anything, but I had A BLAST. It was by far the most fun I’ve had playing out yet. I’ve been playing a Friday night at a decent sized night club and while I enjoy it and get to play a lot of what I like to play, I do have to take requests occasionally to please the owners and patrons. I don’t mind it really, as it broadens my music collection and forces me to step out of my comfort zone honestly.
But NYE was awesome. I started at about 930pm and just started playing my 3-4 star songs (yes I categorize them this way) and worked my way up to the 5 star bangers that I was able to start playing at about 11pm. By 11:15 I started doing updates on the time every 15 mins or so over the mic which REALLY got the crowd going crazy. I had a good friend that does producing put together an awesome count down with a song tied in at the end so after the countdown started I didn’t have to worry about the mixing and I could focus on kissing the wife 😉 I scratched in the “Ten” into the previous song and when the countdown started the place went CRAZY. I was able to play all the great songs I love to play and read the crowd the best I have. Playing out no matter where it is, DEFINITELY is the way to learn. Every time I do, I definitely feel like I’m getting better and better. There are some pics and a couple short videos on my facebook page if you’d like to take a gander 🙂 Be sure to give me a like while there! (yes, sneaky plug for my facebook page right there)
http://www.facebook.com/djund3rcov3rEpicDJMemberI’ve used the Senn 25s and while they are a good headphone, I just got the M50’s for Xmas and LOVE them. Great range of sound and very comfortable. I believe my wife got them for around $100 on amazon. I have used them only at home so far, going to be using them tonight at a NYE gig, but so far I love them.

EpicDJMemberPlaying a house party at a friends. Will definitely be using some pre recorded mixes so I can go mingle though throughout the night.
EpicDJMemberI will never buy anything other than a Crane Pro stand. I have one for my MBP and will be getting one for my controller sometime soon I think. Super sturdy, fully adjustable, and lifetime warranty. Won’t go any other route for sure. Defintely worth the money.
EpicDJMemberI use http://www.legalsounds.com and find just about all the scarce EDM I usually am looking for and can usually find a 320 file. There are usually all the remixes as well I am looking for.
