J-DuffinParticipantJ-DuffinParticipant
If you’re into really heavy bass type music (Dubstep, Dnb, Drumstep etc..)
Check out Figure’s stuff, he has 4 ep’s called “Monsters” they are all drumstepy tracks that include spooky sounds, and samples from horror movies and stuff like that, check it out here:

Keep them coming 🙂
J-DuffinParticipantI voted group, me and my friend have just started a DJ duo ( soundcloud.com/alteramigos )
I find having a friend by your side is much more enjoyable and you vibe of each other which creates a better and more enjoyable set.J-DuffinParticipantThanks alot man, Appreciate the support 🙂
J-DuffinParticipantI was born in Melbourne, but now live in Perth, Both great cities. But the EDM scene is much better and bigger in Melbourne.
J-DuffinParticipantWell, a big part of DJing is stage presence and interacting with the crowd, If you have energy and look like your enjoying yourself, and the music the crowd will enjoy themselves more as well and see you as a more exciting DJ, So basically I’m trying to say, enjoy yourself! Dance a round a little bit, look at the crowd and study how the music you are playing is going down with them and decide what should come next in your set and then start mixing in the next track, while bobbing to the beat and dancing at the same time.
Other things you can do: Have a drink, check your phone, do a little bit of live remixing on the current track with FX.I hope these suggestions helped!
J-DuffinParticipantI’m the same as you man, I find if you play a few mainstream songs in-between EDM songs you like and remixes of Mainstream songs you should keep them happy, just remember they like to sing along and know the words so don’t just pound them with songs they don’t know otherwise they will loose interest. Unfortunately with a crowd like that you sometimes have to play music you don’t enjoy as much as they do, but as Neitsky said find remixes of mainstream songs in the style of music you like, that way, the crowd enjoy themselves and you do as well!

So it would be best to like with your personal profile as this makes the number of likes actually go up 🙂
