    Thank you Sir.

I should add that I will be posting the final results for everyone to see. Obviously the more people that take the survey, the more representative the data will be. I am also running a producer survey (you can take it HERE) to get a view into how our artists look at selling the music you buy. I am really excited at tying the two data sets together.

    Get involved people! 😀

    Glad you think so 🙂

It’s really not designed to be a hangout like DDJT but a way for a highly diverse group of people to network because of the common interest in DJing and Production. I continue to be amazed out how many people are in the same industry as I am (Software) so using a “professional” networking platform seemed to make sense. SPREAD THE WORD!

Soundtracker on the Amiga in 1988. Started messing around with WAVs ripped from CDs in 1992 on 60MB hard disks. This was several eons before packaged DJ software was even a twinkle in the eye of an overpriced, underpowered chipset. People thought we were off our trolleys using 500 quid hard disks for music.

This is quite cool. I don’t think you need the url twice unless you are marketing yourself exclusively to goldfish. Maybe drop the larger Dj MAX D logo on the top one (it doesn’t gel super well with the rest of the design) and then use same url font but change it to your name. I’d make the text brighter to get better contrast with the background. Other than that – its a but of a winner!

The Asio driver is included in the main install. There should have been an option to select the S2 as your controller as part of the Traktor setup.

FX in Traktor is not just an on/off affair and takes some learning to really understand whats going on with it.. It sounds like you need a copy of the Traktor Bible. It will take you from zero to advanced quicker than anything else. You just have to put the time in to reading it in detail -its not a skimmer.

Pad-ONE is a proper controller and will last, unlike the more disposable Korg Nano range…

Be sure to use 320 kbps with CONTINUAL bit rate rather than variable bit rate. Produces a somewhat larger file but will minimize any (already minimal) losses in quality.
