I can be wrong so if I am, I hope Chuck or someone else will give you the right information. But I think there are limiters in the most famous clubs that will automatically change the gain if the volume is too “loud” – maybe in every nightclubs, I don’t know.

Your djing software doesn’t analyzes the bpm of your songs when you load them ?

First you should take a look at the classic EDM songs. For example :

• Afrojack & Steve Aoki – No Beef

Then take a look at famous artists discoygraphy (Axwell, Angello, Prydz, Laidback Luke, Ingrosso, Alesso, Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Avicii, Arty, Hard Rock Sofa, Matisse & Sadko, Swanky Tunes, Otto Knows…), go to Beatport and for Pop songs, iTunes is definitely your friend.

At 1:53 you should stop the acapella, or sidechain it with Avicii’s track ? If you listen to the original Superlove song there is no acapella during the drop. You could still let the acapella during the drop but sidechain it then. Anyway this is a great mash-up. 🙂
