Im looking to do some theme nights in a commercial bar outside of a quiz. It’s been a few years since I worked this type of gig and I was wondering what are the big theme nights in mainstream bars these days?

It might help if you give an indication of what geographical location you are talking about. I am quite sure that mainstream bars in Chicago differ from those in more rural area’s in the US, which in turn are all pretty different from what is hot and what is not in European cities for example.

Well there are the usual themes:

    – Toga Party
    – Star Trek Night
    – Gunslinger Evening
    – Disney Madnessssss
    – Gangstas and Princesses
    – Walking Dead (important to serve shots out of shotgun shells)

    So many Themes…

We did a Moulin Rouge night once and also an Austin Powers meets 007 one.

I am planning a white linen party, a “Throne” night and of course the mandatory 70’s and 80’s parties…
    Hope that helps.
