Pioneer DJ has warned that with the latest update of macOS Big Sur (11.5/11.5.1), there are “some cases where Rekordbox is unable to export files”.
The company says it is currently investigating the cause, and advises all users to delay updating macOS Big Sur until it has confirmed compatibility.
What’s going on
While it is usual for manufacturers to advise holding off on big OS updates, it’s less usual for it to happen with incremental updates like this, so this is a curious one – especially as many users would just accept such updates without worrying.
