Essentially, this is a CDJ-2000NXS2 with uprated construction to deal with the rigours of festival performances. Also the wider overall footprint accommodates the 13 touch screen, using the same technology originally released on the XDJ1000. Technically the sound has been uprated. ESS 32-bit D/A converters and AES/EBU digital output means no loss of sound quality even over long distance connections, to front of house for example. The Tour1 CDJ is clearly a product that’s priced outside almost all home DJ’s pockets and in fairness its focus is not on this market. Only those with the biggest pockets will consider these.
