The Lowdown
The Pioneer DJ DM-40BT are monitor speakers that have Bluetooth connectivity onboard. They’re an update to the DM-40 powered desktop speakers that were introduced last year, and they inherit the same 4″ woofer speaker and 3/4″ tweeter configuration. They’ve got a pair RCA and 1/8″ jack inputs in the back, as well as a headphone output and volume knob at the face of the right speaker. The new thing here is Bluetooth, letting you play music wirelessly whether that’s from your laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
