Most people eventually you find their niche and a social scene without losing their values. It sure beats the isolated tortured artist life. For me it was liberating, and now people typically describe me as outgoing and friendly. If you want to be a DJ it may seem like a contradiction to be the “life of the party” when you feel you don’t fit in socially. But plenty of DJ’s I know are introverts. And glad you like the Star Wars refrence, even though it’s probably dated.

Star Wars will never be dated, and yeah i get it.Just seems hard to find a electronic scene where everyone is suffering from the ”Ghetto” complex.

I understand your point in this but i don’t think you understand what i meant when i said ”a nobody”,i didn’t mean it as just another average person,i meant it as in someone shunned by society who for most of his life had no friends, was considered a freak, someone who never got invited to parties, had no social life what so ever and was often told to go away if he mistakenly showed up to a social gathering.

Here’s the gist of what you should know about both,if you plan to use FL for live performance you’ll need to either route it into your main unit from a secondary one or look into VSTs or some other possible way of simulating the shunt from a secondary to main.If you plan of using FL just for production you’re set. Abelton has the advantage of being set for both live performance as well as producing but it can be harder to master then FL as far as production goes.

    >.> i kinda take a bit of offence in that, the numark mixtrack pro is a controller i’ve use for over a year now and done gigs with.Granted it is a controller that doesn’t feel as much like CDJs and it does give you the feeling like you’ve grown out of it,but once you realize that today you don’t really ever grow out of gear and that with midi mapping you can go wild with any controller,it does let you do some impresive stuffz.

Or if you’re an abelton guy the launchpad is around that price range, granted you’ll need an interface of some sort but if you have a decent sound card you could just split it.

You have the Reloop Mixage Interface edition in that same price range. It’s good, really good,i nearly bought it,the only reason i brought a mixtrack insted of it was because i already had numark headphones and didn’t wanna break brand. And there’s also the Reloop Beatmix which costs less but is still really really good.

I’m not exactly sure if that’ll work hun.Usually you wanna lead a line in into a mic port.

Unless you find a way to route the main output of the mixtrack into your pc and then use that as a line in for say something like SAM i dunno.

Two ways, either get a secondary Laptop so you can have a line in,or use Virtual Audio Cables. The solution with Virtual Audio Cables will often make it harder for you to beatmatch manually.

If you broadcast to icecast there’s traktor.shoutcast, you could try routing traktor through winamp or SAM, or there’s always Mixxx, grated mixxx isn’t a perfect solution.

You need to get comfy with hearing your self then hun. Often times when broadcasting with VDJ you actually hear your self. I broadcast online my self, try getting comfy with hearing your own voice and talking while hearing your self.
