Chris JenningsParticipant
I cook dinner every night. I don’t necessarily enjoy it, it’s just my wife sucks at it. I love to trail run, but I got hit with Achilles Tendonitis last year and still haven’t fully recovered. I’m thinking it’s time to get a second opinion.
I’ve been riding bicycles since I was six first racing BMX, then road bikes, then mountain bikes. I hung up the BMX bikes a few years ago, but still ride road and mountain.
(not me, but I took the picture)
I ride motorcycles a lot, but they’re to expensive to race in Texas so I recently sold my dirt bike and just stick the dual sport bike.
I also do a little backpacking

But; if you are still getting Distortion Stu; check which Soundcard you are using;
When I use my Built In soundcard with Traktor I get Massive Distortion; however; when I change it to my ASIO Driver the Distortion disappears immediatelyIf you click the reply in a specific post it will put that post in quotes.
Using Asio drivers is always a good decision in my book.
Chris JenningsParticipantCheck your volume levels both in Traktor and in Audacity. Make sure none io your meters go into the red.
Chris JenningsParticipantI’m not sure of the differences between mac and pc versions of Audacity, but I have a drop down for input and output just under the file menues. Do you not have an option that says built in input? Maybe if you could post a screenshot of your options available it would help.
Chris JenningsParticipantIf your patient you can usually pick up a used VCI-100 at around that price range. You will still need a soundcard though unless you can find a package deal.
Chris JenningsParticipantI did a 5 hour show on Saturday, which because of time differences I have to wake up at 5:30 am for 😮 other than that it was a lazy weekend.
Chris JenningsParticipantI’m a photojournalist.

Sorry for being a numpty but just to clarify – when I import to itunes from my download folder, I can then ‘right click’ well, two finger click on my Macbook actually, and add details including artist name, song title, genre etc. is this what’s meant by metadata and if so how come I can add it to my imported files if they are still wav?
If you’re worried that the file isn’t a wav anymore just make the bit rate column visible in iTunes. If it shows anything other than 1411kbps then it’s not a wav file.
Chris JenningsParticipantI’ve never been a fan of these audio enhancement programs. i can see the occasional use of them being warranted on some songs, but to use them on your entire library in bulk is never something I would do.
Chris JenningsParticipantMotorcycles, road bikes and mountain bikes. i wish I could still run, but my body can’t handle it any more.
Chris JenningsParticipantYou need to set that recording device to built-in input

I can’t log in on tapatalk either. I’m trying to use my facebook username and password.
Chris JenningsParticipantthe easiest thing to do is going to be to run a line from the main out on the mixtrack to the line in on your computer. You’ll need a cable like this http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-PureAV-Miniplug-Audio-Cable/dp/product-description/B00024VU5I
Chris JenningsParticipantI consider a courtesy to post a playlist with all my mixes.
