traktor with the audio 10 and the technics 1200 mk2 decks timecode vinyl or real vinyl.
audio cables from the audio 10 to the 4D
4D soundcard putting the audio signals into ableton and receiving audio back from ableton for final mixing.
will the denon or any other do this?

I then had to go fully analogue only (turning the soundcard off for all channels)
as I use a NI Audio 10 with traktor, I just played on 4D only analogue mixing. (audio 10 into the 4D)
I have taken the 4D to the service guy on Monday afternoon, phoned up yesterday afternoon (thursday), and he’d just got to opening it when I phoned.
so I am waiting an outcome, if it can be fixed and how much it’s gonna cost.I played a set on Wednesday evening, where I switched the audio 10 (with my technics 1200mk2 decks still connected) to internal mixing in traktor.
I used my iPad 2 with TouchOSC to control the mixer functions in traktor. (worked great)I did a fully (apart from 2 or 3 digital tracks to get started) vinyl trance classics set.

I have just put it on and had analogue audio from my tower (when listening to others sets) and about 10 mins later I put the laptop on and it was detected…
so it’s a hardware issue.
In the ticket I’ve had with Allen&Heath, they concluded to put it in for service.
I will be taking it on Monday for service.

once I do get the mixer recognised, I can hot swap my mixer between both no problems.

I think I need to do a demo mix with extras added in to the regular set.I mostly heard house, commercial rnb.
too much of the same music being played.I now know that I can go up to another setup and do a set.
I have Traktor scratch at home, and tried the pioneer CDJ setup at BPM, and was successful.got advice from an ableton expert.

I’ve applied for a chance to get a 30min slot at the “Play @ BPM” stage/booth.
if I get it and its on the saturday, then I’ll go saturday, but otherwise I’ll be going on the Sunday.

I just added a native instruments audio 10 to my setup.
vinyl decks to the a10 and output from a10 to the 4D, which ableton takes the signal from each channel and puts it back to the same channels on the 4D. where I can do whatever in ableton to the audio going in.
a10 connected to Traktor, and the 4D to ableton.
Participantusing my Saffire 6 USB soundcard on the 4D send return works, although I loose the ability of using timecode vinyl. due to the routing of the 4D.
I can only get it with the original dry signal if I use the eq and fader.
any help?

thinking of phoning lenovo up to ask if they can supply the g510 i5, but with 8gb memory, rather than 4i can buy memory and put it in myself but they would supply it working together.
i have had memory compatibility problems in the past.or would the i7 with only 6gb memory be better?
i know traktor loads tracks into ram.
