Controller DONE then which brings Virtual DJ LE, which im not sure about, should I buy Serato or Traktor? Also i’ve watched alot of headphones? How about the Numark RedWave since I saw them in guitar center and now see you use them vinny, any thoughts?
DJspinMemberKJ has a point, better and cheaper.
DJspinMemberThank you very much, affordable, and Allen & Heath always brings amazing equipment.
DJspinMemberNo 2. for me
DJspinMemberOf course it’s not always poor quality, I’m just saying that stuff happens sometimes with used gear, depending on who used it, the state of the equipment, how long it was used, etc. I also prefer buying new equipment of course, who doesnt? But my point is just make sure what you’re buying isn’t broken or anything.
DJspinMemberPhil I’m also looking for some headphones but more for beginners, the XD53 costs like $200, anything cheaper you would reccomend for a beginner?
DJspinMemberThanks, I think I’ve decided to go with the Mixtrack Pro, I ruled out the Mixage. Still considering a little bit the DJ2 but mostly the Mixtrack Pro, seems like the best beginner controller at the best price.
DJspinMemberBut I just checked and I can’t buy for one reason. So I live in SouthAmerica and here they don’t sell those. So im going to USA to buy my controller and I couldn’t find anywhere where they sell Reloops because they’re german.
DJspinMemberI do love the SC2000. More than the contour at least. Of those 2, go with the 2x SC2000 on my opinion
DJspinMemberExactly phil
DJspinMemberThats right Phil, thanks for the response, but it isnt much more expensive, just a little higher price which I think I can fit into my budget. So you think it’s better than the mixage & the mixtrack Pro?
DJspinMemberYou are right they both are great controllers. I’m not sure about beginner controllers, they are more proffesional as to what controllers can go, if you’re starting I would recommend a Numark, Vestax or Reloop in my opinion, depending on the model of course. Oh and also, it’s not of course everyone but at least me when it comes to used gear, I dont like to buy it, maybe its almost new or anything, I still don’t trust it, and it cost maybe a little less than a brand new so my advice is save a little more money and buy a new controller, hope this helps. Good luck -Spin
DJspinMemberMixtrack Pro is also my favorite, my only complaint is the plastic construction, and the reloops are completely metal. so thats my problem. So just to narrow it down more. Which is better the mixage or digial jockey 2?
DJspinMemberHi lew, thanks for replying, so you prefer the mixtrack pro over the mixage and digital jockey 2?
DJspinMemberI would reccomend the Reloop Jockey 3 Master Edition it costs around $800 or less, I dont know the exact price actually, it is an amazing controller, you should check it out, I can send you some reviews. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEWl5EvJx7c&list=PLD00655EDC7D1B02F&index=2&feature=plpp_video and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIa7jgwcWS8&list=PL5AD1221AC61C3D7B&index=25&feature=plpp_video Its just an opinion, check it out, investigate and let me know your thoughts, one of the best proffesional controllers in the market at the moment I think.
