Being the DJ allows you to meet girls easier because they usually come up to you but it always comes down to the game you spit. If they still give you play and your game is lame, well, she can just be the club slut that probably got the herpes. This is my entire point, it gets you to meet them, what happens next is up to you. Well club sluts come without being a DJ, actually you could be the guy who cleans the floor and still get laid with the club slut, yay for herpes.
DJspinMemberWell, not doubting anything. But anyone can say he got laid in a forum filled with people who don’t know you bro, just saying.
Are you saying you could be bald, fat, ugly, be good at mixing, and could get laid? It’s all about you, maybe the talent could give you a plus, a starters and get you talking, but it doesn’t get you anywhere. That’s up to you man.
Also, sure if you’re a proffesional DJ with money, thats a whole other level.DJspinMember@Dayvue he is 25 and he started around 21, so he was in the university and worked with my uncle, he had his own money.
DJspinMemberDJing doesn’t particularly get you laid, unless you know how to use it like for example, A girl comes up and says: Hey could you play this song? And you do, and the best it could do is get you two talking. It could be helpful but doesn’t get you laid, thats up to you i’d think. Wheter you’re a smooth talker to girls, or a stuttering dumb guy who can’t talk to them.
Depends on how you are with girls, and of course your looks make some impact too.DJspinMemberlongmover, maybe its just me but that made no sense at all to me, you want me to spend thousands of dollars at the age of 15 without telling my parents? I didn’t get that.
DJspinMemberSome people have trouble approaching their parents you see, some parents aren’t very supportive to their son spending thousands of dollars in what most parents think is a stupidity, so especially us young ones need some explanation and convincing to do. And that isn’t easy, I explained EVERY expense to my parents and told them this is good for me, it is a great hobby and could very much be a potential career, but they said no, I only started DJing because my brother is a DJ so he pulled some strings and convinced them, I was asking for tips to people who have trouble.
March 6, 2012 at 12:06 am in reply to: Suggestion for passable PC USB Sound Card under 35 USD? #16186DJspinMemberYou could get others beside the Traktor 2.
Check these out:
Esi Maya44 USB
M-Audio FastTrack
Numark DJ I/O which is the best for beginners along with the Traktor Audio 2
Behringer UCA222
Reloop Play
Novation Nio
ESI Gigaport HD
MixVibes Umix 44
And so on………
Some are pricier some are cheaper. just take a lookDJspinMemberAt least thats what I would do.
DJspinMemberIf you are going to get Monitor Speakers dont get the Rokits just yet. Get cheaper ones like the M-Audio Studiophiles, save some cash for PA speakers, try to get some money and when you have enough, ask for help in which PA speakers to choose. After you have your own PA system, consider getting the Rokits.

DJspinMemberDamn bro, only 3? You’re killing me here, I cant decide.
DJspinMemberA wise man once said: “You can’t have sex with a noodle as your penis, at least not properly.” That is what Hee Won Jung is trying to say. Get at least the Behringer BCD3000, the Mixtrack, the Hercules MK4 or the MP3 E2, all cheap controllers. Just don’t go headphones keyboard and splitter cable, cause you won’t get ANYWHERE like that. Search Amazon for cheap headphones, maybe SkullCandy, or Sennheiser, those are cheap.
DJspinMemberSo not good for DJing?
DJspinMemberSo yeah, if you’ve done it before, go aheaad.
PD: I know It was just a question, but this kind of stuff you shouldn’t care about others opinions. You do what you want to do with your life, have some fun. 🙂DJspinMemberIf you’re starting to DJ and don’t know anything never get gigs, you have a job, etc. My opinion is you shouldn’t go proffesional. Just take it as a hobby, and do it for fun. If you are good at it, have contacts and get gigs, go with it.
But its your life who am I to ruin your dreams? -
