Try http://www.decksaver.co.uk/
I know they do covers off the shelf for Technics – they will prob cover stantons as its a similar design.
They might also do some custom ones for you if you ask.
Other than that eBay/DJ sparesHaroonParticipanthi Neil, the next one is Saturday 26th May at 4pm – hoping I recover from Kerri Chandler lol
More info here:

HaroonParticipantHi there I use RE3 and Traktor too, what I do is like lawrence suggests, I have RE3 insert the Key before the comment, you will find the setting for this in preferences. If you later want to write in a comment you can always amend it after the key in the comment.
HaroonParticipantIn your itunes music folder there should be a sub-folder called ‘Automatically Add to iTunes”, set this as the download folder for the beatport downloader app. When you download your tunes, you open iTunes, if not already done, it will pick up that you have new tunes in that folder and move them into the library. Just navigate to the recently added playlist to find them, do the same in Traktor.
HaroonParticipantWhen I used to record to mp3 with virtual dj, it sounded garbled in places, when i used Wav it was clear. I think the difference was due to the additional processing overhead that is required to convert the audio into mp3, on less powerful machines running virtual dj was enough to convert audio to mp3 was too much. So in the end I stuck with WAV (little conversion needed as its captured in a similar format) and converted with Audacity using the lame plugin. I now do the same with traktor.
HaroonParticipantHi folks, next session is Monday 23rd 7:30pm at MadLab again more info:
http://madlab.org.uk/content/digital-dj-3/For May, I’m thinking of doing a Saturday afternoon session, perhaps with a follow on to play out at a local bar. Let me know if interested.

HaroonParticipantsmart playlists for organising my tunes, particularly using the star rating for energy – 1 start for chill out, 2 for warm-up, 3 for transition, 4 for peak and 5 for classics or bombs. Combine that with keys and generes means finding the next tune in traktor is easy.
HaroonParticipantReturn to MadLab tonight…. thinking if this turns out regular, then see if we can play at Common bar opposite after.
HaroonParticipantMy friend has had it since it came out, he’s had problems with it pretty much since. If you act quick you can get NI S2 for reduced price till end of the month.
March 28, 2012 at 11:47 am in reply to: Where do you go to listen to online mixes by other DJs? #1003388HaroonParticipantMixcloud – pretty much my fav due to its mix of big name djs on there as well as bedroom dj’s.
For more well known names and those emerging on the underground…
Fact Mag mixes – http://www.factmag.com/category/factmixes/
XLR8 – http://www.xlr8r.com/podcastAlso http://www.be-at.tv/ is great as you can watch the DJ’s mix – they cover all the big festivals and parties, and its interesting to see how the crowd react or not.
HaroonParticipant@Frosh thats how I taught myself to do it when I started.
@Prototype1 on some mixers you can select between pre/post EQ for the monitor, like on A&H’s. Though a lot of my friends do it your way and think the way I do it is weird.I’d like to get more info on EQ’ing really. I see a lot of the US DJ’s are really big on EQ fiddling for effect like Theo Parrish, Juan Atkins, Derrick May etc. Where as in Europe movements are kept smaller – seen Ame and they do tiny movements to EQ. Dunno who is right as I enjoy both styles.
HaroonParticipantGood to hear from you Rick, there were quite a few peeps into trance there.
The next one is 7:30pm Wednesday 28th March, details here:
http://madlab.org.uk/content/digital-dj-2/I hope you can make it over.

HaroonParticipantJust to let peeps who might have shied away last night, it was a good session last night – one attendee blogged a review here is a snippit:
“After tonights meet, I’m feeling pretty positive and glad to have met some cool new people who share a passion and are willing to share their experience in order that I can become a better musician/digital dj/controller-ist and eventually become an accomplished electronic performer.”
http://undergroundfreelancer.com/2012/02/21/madlabsuk-and-digital-dj-ing/My overview:
We started off with quick introductions about ourselves and what led us to be there. It seemed all were already established DJ’s, some having been in the game for decades, but wanted to change things up and see what they can achieve that goes beyond the two decks and a mixer approach, for which all accepted was a classic combo.
The discussion then moved on as to what people would like to cover, a brainstorming session:- audience engagement, which became quite passionate;
- tagging and organising files (tagscanner, beatunes and even itunes reared its head with its smart playlists);
- free software to get started;
- controllers people are using became a show and tell around the room, interesting how people were using their equipment and modifying their equipment with custom mappings;
- more topics on the list saved for next time.
Alas the two hours passed quickly and people were staying behind well after 9pm discussing set-ups.
Our remaining topics from the brainstorming, have formed the following agenda for the next event:
- Using Keys for Harmonic mixing – Haroon will do a mini-session on detecting keys and using the camelot wheel
- Mapping with Traktor / Virtual DJ / other –
- Share your favourite effects – all to participate and share favourite effects
- Overview of Madeon style cue-point juggling
I’m looking at dates for the next event in March.
HaroonParticipantBeen into DJ’s and dance music since I seriously first got into music, back then started out clubbing at places like Renaissance in Mansfield and Derby, along came their, and first for a club, mix CD. I soon got decks, messed around but sold them again as I preferred to be on the otherside clubbing.
Then 12 or so years later hitting 30 I thought I’m getting too old for clubbing and need to have some purpose being in clubs, having developed a refined taste and more astute I got myself back into it.
I knew decks were coming to an end and things were going digital and could not see the point in CDJS (MP3s were the rage and what was the point spending time burning stuff) I was also skint so this meant one things midi-controller and laptop. At that time hercules controller had come out, it had a bunch of trial software, of the bunch I lived virtual dj. I soon upgraded to full version but still found it limiting with the controller (headphone cue/mix issue).
I then saw the Richie Hawtin youtube set-up video and thought wow got to get that, he’s the doyen of tech DJ’s he knows what etc, but I had to wait for the cash. I had a 3rd lane crash of my beemer, decided to downsive to a golf as recession kicked in and i was travelling mega miles each day to work. With the difference I splashed out on the set-up in my sig, BTW I thought I had to get the technics as collectors items before they go – glad I did as I got them for £420 a pop same price as mk2’s, but now they go for over a grand, but they aint going. The set-up covers all bases: past (technics), present (traktor linear djing), future (ableton non-linear re-mixing) 🙂
So for me its age and circumstances!
