Have you looked into the Mixtrack Pro?

I get the impression that they’re aware of this and are trying to rectify it.
LewMemberTurn the “Cue Mix” knob to “cue”.
LewMemberIIRC, the mapping will be in the settings.tsi file in the folder you moved. Copy that file into the new Traktor folder or import it within Traktor and it should come back.
LewMemberDepends on what software you plan on using. The Mixtrack Pro has the advantage of being able to run Serato DJ Intro.
LewMemberWhen you ran the setup wizard did you select “Mixtrack Pro” or “Mixtrack Pro LE”?
LewMemberOf course, you realise that you now have a lot to live up to when her next birthday comes roundβ¦ π

I have tried to teach myself the basics of mapping on Traktor pro 2 and managed to map a few things.
I keep editing this post because through trial and error, i manage to answer my own questions. However I am stuck again. I have mapped hot cues and a delete button but was just wondering if there is a way to delete hot cues without skipping back to them?
Also I have got the LED’s to illuminate, but all 4 hot cue buttons illuminate when I just press one button, can this be fixed?
(I have a mixtrack pro)
I would really appreciate it if someone could take a few minutes to help me.
Thanks
Try downloading my mapping here and have a look at how the mappings are done. I’ve done pretty much what you’re trying to do so it should be some help.
LewMemberNice. π

You see that big square thing between the two speakers in the picture? That’s called a “sub”. π
LewMemberI use these and find them quite good for the price and size. They’re good enough for practicing and they have RCA inputs which is useful.
LewMemberI think the easiest way to record with Intro on a Mac would be to just use an external recorder of some sort. If you went that route you’d need to use RCA splitters on the outputs of the Mixtrack Pro so that you could still feed your speakers as well as the recording device, unless whatever you use to record can output the signal it’s recording.
I don’t think Soundflower would work as you need to be able to select it as the output device in your mixing software and Intro doesn’t let you choose the audio device.
BTW, as you appear to be in the UK going by the prices in your OP, the Mixtrack Pro should come with Traktor LE rather than VDJ LE.
LewMemberIf you get the Mixtrack Pro (not the regular Mixtrack) you’ll also be able to download Serato Intro for free and use that.
If you end up getting Traktor Pro then it has recording built in.
