All your music will be sorted through reckordbox,so of a club has cdjs 850/900/2000 you can take your music on a usb stick and away you go. Or take your controller and plug into a channel on the club’s mixer
As your music will be sorted through rekordbox most of your tracks will be on time etc So you wouldn’t need adjust the pitch that much,
And there is a sync button which will bypass you having to adjust the pitch to beatmatch.
I would love this controller however it will not fit in the dj booth where I play. So that is another thing to think about.
MatParticipantI’ve used both, and I have to say, using the 850 with rekordbox is a lot better than burning cds all the time for the 1000mk3, just plug in a usb stick to each deck and away you go.
Although rekordbox has changed since I used it last.
I never really changed the jog wheel adjust on the 1000s as after mixing a couple of songs you get used to it, anyway.
the displays on each are about the same. 900/2000 displaus are a lot better.
I would pick the 850s over the 1000s, and if you dj in a club with there own dj equipment, most likely 850/900/2000 you can just use your usb, and you would have already had your music sorted through rekordbox.
MatParticipantI know. I think I may have a change to serato around summer time
MatParticipantIf you go to native instruments personal update manager and login.
You can download a previous version or traktor. So I’ve gone back to 2.6.8
MatParticipantThank god of it’s not me going mad….
is there a way to go back to 2.6.8 even though I wiped my laptop ?
Thanks
MatParticipantBut you can’t change latency on traktor when it runs through the laptop speakers, only when the sound card is connect, when you can change latency.
I’ve updated the drivers are reinstalled them numerous times. But it’s still the same,
2.6.8 worked fine with no problems.
thanks
MatParticipantIt’s both, when Using laptop at home playing music through traktor/laptop speakers it pops and crackles. ITunes, ableton. Doesn’t.
In the club with audio 6 using traktor is crackles and pops. Only using traktor.
Traktor dj app and ableton is fine with the audio 6 so I know the audio 6 is fine.
MatParticipantWindows 8.1 which was previously. I don’t know why but it sets itself when going through laptop speakers.
I used traktor dj last night so I know the sound card audio 6 is fine. So it can only be the current version of traktor
MatParticipantI had the 1500 in white. Not a colour I would recommend, as the get dirty rather quickly.
Sound is brillant, they are very comfy. But a bit bulky compared to hd25ii which I have now.
The cable is removable and the fold up quite small.
I have never used the 2000s so can’t be any help.
I used the 1500 on my iPad, phone and when djing, had no problems at all.
isolation is brilliant also.MatParticipantThabks for the help but I know about latency etv, I’ve used traktor for about 5 years..
my laptop has an amd a8, 8gb ram.As I said was running fine. But had to much music all over the place hence why I wiped it.
so I had to have 2.7.3 version which has caused problems.
MatParticipantMy laptop ran fine before. You can’t change latency when its running through laptop speakers……
Same for the soundcard drivers.(Which I have done)
Everything was turned off
traktor worked fine on 2.6.8 which was the last time I updated.MatParticipantBrilliant thanks
MatParticipantYeah what I meant sorry was how to move a playlist from one library to the other without having to have duplicate the tracks.
Aani stupidly made a playlist in the main library for djing tha. I want to add to the dj iTunes library.
Thanks
MatParticipantDid you find out how to move songs from one library to the other without having to have duplicate copies? Thanks
MatParticipantI can see registered products and the serial codes.
It says download next to them but nowhere to remove anything?
Traktor x1 hardware
traktor le ii kontrol x1 edition
