    I would do as many LIVE gigs as you can until you feel you are comfortable…

    On a similar note…

    I always get a pop up while viewing the site on my iphone….asking If I would like to “install” the DDJT app/shortcut, which is a bit annoying.

    Awesome find Softcore. If this is the case I think I am going to go with this model over the PRO.

    Welcome to the site. I’m a fairly new DJ in New Jersey.

    This site is great for getting up and running…Tons of beginner questions have already been answered so feel free to search the forums and if you can’t find an answer you need start a new thread.

    I think there are 3 days left to get the intro price of the Beginner Digitial DJ Course Phil (site owner) put together.
    I actually just got done going through it and it gives you everything you need in one place in a friendly 1 on 1 setting.

    I know you can do this in VDJ, Traktor, SSL, and Mixxx. I’m sure you can also do it with Serato intro and torq.

    Yes, The Mixtrack Pro has 2 pairs of RCA outs.

    I actually have a USB 8 button SF fight pad laying around that I don’t use any more. I would use this for the time being, but no mapping for Virtual DJ LE =(

    When I get my NS6/Itch 2.0 can I utilize this for sampling since there are no buttons on the NS6 itself?
    Is this the same program that maps buttons in to keystrokes?

    Maybe a hybrid solution would be to introduce subforums throughout the site to better help filter posts into the appropriate spot. This would act similiar to an unintentinal ‘search’ function. Personally speaking, I feel the forum headings are a bit broad, but do serve their purpose.

    This way the newbs aren’t given the dunce hat…and the Pro’s won’t have to answer the same question over and over

    I’m loving the course.. I’m already hoping there are plans for an intermediate level course and more in the future.

    Just wanted to point out that there is a typo putting the Numark N4 on the same line as the Numark NS6.
    At first glance, I thought the Ns6 was missing.

    Very true for the original Crane Stand. This newer (cheaper, stripped down) model no longer has the 2 clamps to lock it in to position.

    For example Put a thousand pound weight on that center “leg” and pull forward on the tray and nothing happens. Now, give it a little shove backwards and it falls to the ground like an UBERstand? Or am I misunderstanding this new design?

    Are you running the Home edition (without a controller) or the LE version packaged with various controllers?

    I’m running VDJ LE on my MacBook Pro 13″ and a Mixtrack and I have no issues with Cues loading or skipping. I also had no issues when running the Home version before I received my controller.

    Are you just using your internal soundcard?

    Let me start by saying i’m not familiar with the Idj3 or software, but….

    If you open your music in another piece of software (Itunes, MediaRage..etc) Does the BPM load there? If not you may not have this info saved in the ID3 tags for all songs.

    I would start there…

    Now that I think about it….

    Although built better, this model may suffer from the same problem as the Uberstand. Since, it is folded into its current position there is no way your laptop is going to fall forward, but if you give the stand a little shove backwards it could fall flat to the ground. I’m sure this would be a very rare occurence, but a built in “pin” or equivalent of the zip ties they give you with the uberstand would have remedied this?
