Xtreeme Mapping simplifies the laborious task of making your own mappings for Traktor DJ software.

Just a quick update for our power Traktor users: The latest version of Xtreme Mapping, the popular Traktor Midi mapping app for Mac OSX, has been released and is now available from the Mac AppStore.

Xtreme Mapping 1.3 comes with a launch bonus: If you buy it from the Mac AppStore now (like, Thursday), you should find it’s at an introductory price of US$3.99 / €2.99. The new version adds multiple mapping support, allows you to reorder effects names, and gives you more room for comments on commands, among other improvements.

It also includes support for the new Kontrol F1 and Remix Decks commands introduced in Traktor 2.5.0. (Do note, though, that it won’t magically allow you to map the Remix Decks to third-party controllers, as all it can replicate is what you can do in the Controller Manager in Traktor itself.) After today, the price rises to US$7.99 / €5.99.

Do you use Xtreme Mapping already? Are you tempted by this offer? How do you find mapping Traktor in general? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
