Reloop has released the Flux Go, a compact USB-C DVS interface primarily intended for Serato DJ Pro.

It’s essentially a two-channel version of the original three-channel Flux, designed for portability rather than groundbreaking features. At 115 x 82 x 26mm and weighing just 168g, it’s totally pocket-sized – the sort of thing you can chuck in a gig bag as a backup or use when space is tight.

A classic two-channel simple DVS mixer and decks set-up showing how this device would be wired in.

What it’s got

The Flux Go gives you dual stereo inputs and outputs, with DIP switches on each input to toggle between phono and line level. That means it works with turntables, CD players, or media players. It unlocks Serato DJ Pro and Serato DVS (no Pitch’n Time though – come on, Serato!), and features 24-bit/96kHz audio with ultra-low latency. It uses gold-plated RCA connections and has a headphone output with volume control on the side panel. The extended edge design is there to protect the connections.

It’s class-compliant on macOS and comes with ASIO drivers for Windows. The unit is bus-powered via USB-C, so no separate power supply needed. Beyond DJing, it could of course double as a studio soundcard for recording and playback in any DAW.

• The Reloop Flux Go is available from the beginning of February, priced at £190. More info on the Reloop website
