Thanks for taking some time to listen. I do like Coldharbour, collectively the producers signed to that label have a sound that works for me. I do play and purchase from other labels and producers. No, it is just the first time I posted a mix publicly.
Trouse might not be your genre. lol
Oh, the mix was very good, nice progression, flawless and well thought out transitions. I did like the mix very much. The only complain I have, is, that IMO you had too much of the same producers, since when I go clubbing, the less I hear tracks I know, the better, but this is ofc only my preference. This could as well be a khomha set, as any coldharbor artist’s. You can take this as much of a feedback, as a compliment, whitchever you prefer.
I really appreciate your honesty. I take it as both a compliment and useful feedback. Here is what I find though, and maybe you can help or not, I can only find this type of trance sound from mainstream producers. Do you happen to know of a website that may have something a little more underground?
I am also in the middle of earning a Abelton Certification. I would like to be able to create my own edit’s to help with originality.
For my own podcasts (found in mixcloud), I do cratedigging in soundcloud (mostly). It sure is time-consuming, and there are loads of complete shite in there, there are also the gems to be found. The UI of soundcloud is also quite good. It can also be free, since there are a lot of tracks available as free downloads.
Ragejunkie.com is another place where I’ve found something, and its all free downloads, but the UI is much less convenient.
On my gigs I play mostly mainstream stuff, though. Weddings/corporate, you see.
Its just coupla clicks more here and there, the main problem is that it diesn’t have a built-on media player, it doesn’t like adblock and has pop-ups. However, the stuff posted there is in general rather good.
