    Hi,

I was a guitar player since 12 years old. i used to listen to metal. Now I am 28 years old. For three years i have been listening to psytrance.(My Favorites are UK psytrance, brazilian psytrance, twilight psytrance and some progressive psytrance) I just got myself a dj controller and start djing. I have some questions in my mind which i cant find answers of them:

Which software should i use for mixing and preparing Psytrance tracks ? (I didn’t like serato and virtual dj. now i am using traktor)
Which key detection software is better? ( I need free or cracked versions to decide which one is better and easier to use for me.)
Which elements i should care when picking songs to mix rather then keys of them?
How can i decide which basic transition technique i should use when mixing two tracks?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi, welcome to the forums.

Don’t expect any information on cracked/hacked or otherwise illegal versions of software on here. We do NOT condone any kind of illegal business regarding tracks or software.

As for the best key detection program, I think the only answer can be Mixed In Key. It’s not free, actually a serious buy. But then again, it will lost for a lot more than the few CDs you can’t buy if you buy MiK.

I do believe it comes with a no questions asked money-back guarantee. So if you really don’t like it you can always hand it back in for a refund.

As for specifics on mixing Psytrance (and there are even sub-genres of it?) I can’t help your there.
