Is there a limit on what you can play etc: Pop/Rock from the 1950’s to now, or do some mobile people play older stuff such as this in the video, sorry if links are not allowed…

I used to work residency in a 5-star hotel. Saturday nigths jampacked (locals mostly) and I would play hooked on waltzes and true rock and roll. Mobile gigs I’ll play Glen Miller’s In The Mood if it suits the … Mood (duh!).

So no, if you think you can make it work, go for it.

I was thinking maybe it could be used as background music for when the clients are having dinner etc:

If I have to play foxtrot during a more formal dinner I’d throw this in also.

In case of a more upscale wedding I’d probably be out with video support too. So getting a nice time-frame ballroom dancing video for the video wall would make the atmosphere complete.
