    You can’t really compare them, one is a two channel and the other one is a four channel controller.. both work in similar ways so it comes down to your own personal preference IMHO

    Have you thought about waiting for 4Trak? Maybe it will fit better than the NS6.. and it will be sweeeet.

    I strongly disagree with this. Starting out, I made myself a website and a set of good “designer” business cards.. it worked magic for me: everyone has a Facebook fan page, Twitter or what not and that’s the reason why saying you have a website of your own gets pretty positive reactions. Even if it’s a basic cheap site like mine šŸ™‚

    Shout out drink offers, announce the program for the next few nights, tell a joke, remind the crowd of a recent sporting event, say something about the next song or the next artist you’re mixing in šŸ™‚

    Well, Max is my nickname.. most people know me by that name but I thought it was too ordinary to go as “DJ Max”. So I was like: “Max A? no. Max B? hell no. Max C? nope. Max D? good enough”

    I wouldn’t change it but it might come to that in the future simply because idiotic club owners forget the D all the time..

    Well depends on what you do and how you do it.. for me the Numark N4 is the better option because of the four full channels (and I plan to buy it soon) and the Serato Intro feature, also you have the vDJ’s timecode option open if you want to go down that route.

    And for us non-global DJs, it means you can see if one of the two watches is late or early.

    I actually made something like that (only in Serbian).. also, I was planning to print posters and post them around the city to get people to laugh a bit. Too bad I am lazy.

    Be prepared.. that means bring business cards, do some printing for the CDs and think about what might come in the conversation: which genres can you cover? Can you organize your own night, and how would you do that? Set your minimum and average price, according to the conditions (time, gear, genre etc) and generally think it through..
