Thanks for the quick reply Phil! I do use that tip often but lets say you didn’t have the original track. Does your beatgridded acappellas ever seem to drift as you get farther along in the track?

i always will cue up a handful then go back and re listen to them a day or two later and if they still catch my ear like they did when I first heard them then i’ll usually go on and purchase then.

mine is currently around 50 gigs but i’m about to go through and get rid of a lot of music that i wouldn’t play out. On my home pc though i have 2 tb and probably 500 gigs of that is music. But that includes a lot of discographies and such as well.

i had the same issue… I”m using an s4 and my recording setup was fixed to record out of the s4.. I had no sound but the file would show as well. I switched it to make sure it recorded inside my macbook instead and everything worked fine since then.

my first gig was for a high school dance where all the kids wanted nothing but teach me how to dougie and other nonsense songs… i quickly learned that it really is about keeping your crowd happy despite if your not the biggest fan of songs.. I quickly switched venues though to crowds who appreciated house music haha

never played out someone else’s mix.. what fun is there?? you should record your own mixes at home and when the time comes that you need to step away you can play your own mixes while your absent from the booth..
