January 25, 2016 at 3:08 pm in reply to: How many Traktor DJ's forced to downgrade to 2.6.8? #2345131Dj R1tamParticipantHey Mark Has this been officially announced by Traktor? Just asking becuase it seems odd they’d recommend reverting that far back.
On the flipside maybe the people misheard or didn’t understand? Just doesn’t make sense.

I was looking at the numbers wrong definitely not percentage. LOL but awesome tip! I will definitely do so. I appreciate the help! Also wasn’t sure if a lot of the beginner DJs might have issues when deciding which to use considering everyone thinks Google will give them the answer and when it doesn’t they freak out. Haha that’s what Great websites, forums like these and their great members, are for! 😀

Appreciate you taking the time to respond! I actually had mixed in the key before tractor released its key detection future. So I thought hey this is really nice now I have one plus program I need to install. I believe the dJ TechTools even did a review on the five major key detection software’s. And tractor was in the 70-75 percentile, when it comes to accurately analyzing small batches of tracks.
I could tell you It didn’t work hundred percent of the time. It’s seemingly operates somewhat accurately. But when compared to mixed in key. The results are just way off. Like I posted before.. Traktor saying 1m or 1d and mixed in key showing a result of 8a or 8b. I just started i’m getting used to mix in key. When tractor came out with it so my confusion may be due to overlapping/contradicting “harmonic mixing”rules, each program supplies simply Based on the numbers I see. if that makes sense

Dj R1tamParticipantTraktor S4 mk2 or Vci-400eg for Traktor. S4 will give you less headaches. Feels like the only reason I bought my vci400eg was for the durability. Otherwise…. I would have gotten a new s4. It’s software integration is OUTSTANDING!
Dj R1tamParticipantDj R1tamParticipant^ AGREED! ^ 😀
Dj R1tamParticipantThanks DJ Rizki and Dj Vintage! 😀 got so excited to find the forums, I forgot to add my info hahaha 😛 anyway.. I’m 27 years young! I currently live in Chicago. I got into dj’ing after a a friend said… “Hey man… You got really god taste in music! Ever thought about becoming a DJ?” Always loved music (24-7 listener regardless of what I’m doing) haha so about 5 years ago. The first board I bought, was Hercules RMX. Eventually… Moved up to Traktor S4, F1 and just bought a VCI-400eg. Dj’ing just clicked with me! 😀 HUGE FAN of electro, moombahton & Club/Dance music. But, I practice and can spin almost any music, I’m handed. (I practice more than seemingly/humanly possible) haha Which has landed me a good number of gigs, throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs. The next logical step would be production. As I’m very passionate about music. Not gonna be easy… But, I hope to work as hard as possible to make some great sounds! 🙂
