@LukeAlive, thanks for the tip man
@Ella, that is what ill probably do. Take some alone time and think about it. Its going to take place at a local bar by my school. Im still not over 21 but majority of my friends are and they want me to do it because they will all be there to encourage me and all that stuff.
@FluxDeep Very deep stuff there bro haha. I appreciate you taking the time to read and reply back. Everything oyu said was helpful and made me realize a lot of stuff.

I still have to get in contact with the promoter and get the details. Ill keep everyone updated with everything.

I have always said that the bigger of a Dj/Producer you get the less buttons you have to press. This far beyond proves my point. I might not have a song on the charts or a world known dj but when I DJ at a house party I do my mixes not just load them up to a deck, press play and say that was me. It might not be perfect at the end but people actually see your doing work.

there is nothing you will get under $100 unless you get the logitech computer surround system. I got a Behringer d212 which is onlly $229 till sunday at guitar center. 550 watts and its active so no need for an amp. i had the D208 which was 220 watts and i did parties with it. that was only $183

Would it be a house party or something bigger? What controller is it?

My first time I did a party was for my friends frat party with the Ion Discover and that went well. Now I have the Numark Mixtrack and I have done from family parties to sweet sixteen. Sometimes its not the equipment you have but how you use it.

I have tried it and it worked. This summer I was off for vacation to the Dominican Republic for two weeks. My cousin owns a “bodega” in a small town of about 500. The place turns into a get together later at night for the locals, the music is always playing in the afternoons. One day joking around I asked him if I can mix a bit at least for 2 hours and he took it seriously and said yes 0_0. The next day I setup with my stuff, yes I took my Numark Mixtrack and laptop with me on vacation, and got everything ready. It took me about 20 minutes to get everybody dancing and having a good time but for the next hour and a half nobody was sitting down. After my time was up and I gave it back to the guy that usually does the music (only a laptop). As soon as I stepped down everybody wanted me back in. I told them that I was on vacation and I was suppose to be drinking with them instead of doing music. When I finished everything I couldn’t believe it. It was the best 2 hours I have done.

I was a great feeling being in another country and still be able to rock the house.

Mother kills 2 year old daughter and is found not guilty on accounts of first degree murder and I think aggressive child abuse but was found guilty of lying in court about evidence but that is only considered a misdemeanor in the states and that only serves a max of a couple months. She walked out that courtroom like a BOSS!!

Thanks Phil. I was reading the review earlier and the X10 isnt in my budget but ill save up because i liked it a lot. I was also hoping you can explain how to set it up. I’m using Traktor Pro 2 and is this something that I have to do with the software or the hardware?
