Although I have watched Videos of Richie Hawtin and though ‘Wow’ when looking at the Equipment he has;
With a Laptop – and the Correct Software for You (and possibly a Mixer); there is No Reason why you cannot Achieve your Full Potential (Technique wise) with the Equipment you have;

Yes I have to Totally Agree;
Whenever I Upload a Set Online I Always (as a Matter Of Principle) include a Track List;
When I was younger (I am only 24 now lol); I did feel Paranoid about others ‘Stealing my Tunes’ as your GF says; however after an amount of Consideration I felt that the Public may be able to ‘See’ the Tracks that I have Mixed; but ‘Can They’ Mix them ‘As Well’ as I have done; and then made the decision that it made no difference whether I Posted the Track List or not;
A lot of people Don’t Post a Track List (as if to keep people Guessing); which is also Cool;
And of course another thing (we; I; you) could/need to take into consideration (if the Track List includes a Live Streaming Recording of the Set); is what if people see the Track List and think ‘well; I don’t know any of those Tracks so I am not listening to it); but; this is a Risk we have to take;
Hopefully (and your Website looks Cool by the way); people will listen to Our Sets because they Like Us and Want To 🙂MemberI was Fortunate to be able to watch all 17 (or was it 19) Races last year; and I Promised myself I would do the same this year; but unfortunately I have only seen 2 of the Races this year; and both times Sebastian Vetel won; so I thought it was a bit Boring;

You brought some Memories back for me then;
As I remember rewinding Cassettes Many times having noticed Sasha; Danny Rampling; Carl Cox; Pete Tong; make a ‘Small’ indiscretion; but I do remember ‘Smiling’ at these points as it made me feel these ‘Heroes’ were actually ‘Human’; and so maybe being ‘Human’ isn’t So Bad after all :);
Regardless of whether I use Ableton or not; I Always Record my Sets Live; but Thank You for your Kindness in your reply 🙂MemberYes :);
I am So Guilty of Trashing Mixes (that Could be amazing) just because they are not Correct to the 16th Note/Beat;
It has been suggested that I keep a Record (I used to on CDDJ’s) of Transitions that were Perfect; or in Digital DJ’ing a Copy of the Transitions that were Perfect; but until I Understand How to ‘Drag these Files’ into a New/Existing Ableton Project it just isn’t happening; and so; like you; often I Lose things that were Really special;

I believe your problem lies with the Sample Rate of Traktor and your Soundcard;
Traktor will only allow you to have a Sample Rate of 44,100;
However it is Possible that your PC/Laptop Soundcard is set to 48,000 – and this will cause your Tracks to play Too Fast;
To solve this;
Right Click your Speaker Icon next to your Clock on the Taskbar;
Choose Playback Devices; then Recording; then Realtek High Definition (or whatever your Souncard is); then Properties; then click the Advanced Tab; and either Reset To Default; or make sure that the Sample Rate is 44,100;
If this doesn’t work; come back and we will find another solution 🙂MemberCool Effects at 3.50 onwards :);
