    Hello William :);
    I am sure (or at least it is Possible) that these DJ Consoles have been Reviewed on Digital DJ Tips; so somebody will give you a More Technical answer than mine;
    But; if you buy the Numark you will need to buy an Extra Soundcard with 4 Ports; (Numark Recommend 2 Soundcards to choose from; one costing $159; and the other $179);
    And; if you buy the Hercules; it has 4 Stereo Ports already Built In; (and of course it uses VDJ which you are used to);
    However; I don’t know which is the Best Console I am Sorry;

    I have been Holding Back from this Thread as the Big Names (and Fantastic Producers) have kept coming and coming :);
    But; my Favourite Producer is a man named Derrick Anthony Brown II (DABII); he is a Dubstep Producer; so obviously not everyone’s Cup Of Tea; but he has released 25 Tracks and I haven’t heard a Bad one yet; in fact they are All Works Of Art :);

    Hello William :);
    I am Very Pleased to hear that you are Enjoying Digital DJ Tips; I find it an Amazing Investment of Time :);
    I have just been to your YouTube Channel and listened to 2 of the 4 Mixes it allowed me to (because of Country Restrictions?);
    It has been a little while since I used VDJ; but as you are Limited to Time (only being able to Practice outside of Boarding School);
    I was wondering if (for a little while) you could Take Advantage of the ‘Sync’ Button if VDJ has one; just until the ‘Sound’ of Beatmatching becomes Second Nature to you; as I Love the Effects you are using with VDJ; the Slowing down; Speeding Up; and the other Techniques you are using; and I feel that you have a Great DJ in you; because already you are Thinking Ahead about Unique Transitions between Tracks; but the ‘Beats’ of the 2 Tracks are not yet ‘In Line’ with each other; and I would Love for you to be able to pull that off; as Unfortunately we can only use ‘Cuts’ from one Track to another so many times in a DJ Set;
    I have been DJ’ing for 10 years now; and I Practiced for a year before I went out Live;
    Best Wishes;
    Emma 🙂

    I don’t have iTunes; and just have a 300GB External Drive;
    I have 2,700 Tracks; but out of these Tracks I could Honestly say that I would only Consider using 1,000 of them as ‘Material’ for DJ Sets; I am probably now down to adding 3 Tracks a week if I am Lucky as I have become Very Fussy lately;

    Hello Ian :);
    I am listening to your Track ‘Chill the Sound’ now; and I think your Melody is Gorgeous (and I have Downloaded it Thank You) :);
    To Create a Track like this whilst Revising for Exams (5 months ago); is amazing in my Opinion 🙂

    Hello Christopher :);
    It is a Great shame when we have Composed some Material and just need a Singer to top it off; but are unable to find one; Unfortunately that is a Common Experience;
    I have a Friend in Alaska; and another in Miami; who like you; Compose their Own Material; and I would say that 50% of their Material are Instrumentals; and they do stand up on their Own; on their other Tracks they use Samples to give the Track ‘Body’;
    and the Man in Alaska (as he is not very Confident about his Own Voice) uses a Vocoder and other Effects that Mask the Tone of his ‘Naked Voice’; and again that sits Very Well on his Tracks;
    One Option that Does Work; is to look in your Local Paper (or Musician Papers) for Females in your Area who Love to Sing; and could Possibly help you to Complete your Tracks; Many Female Singers will work for Nothing just to be Associated with a Possible Successful Track; and others will Charge a Nominal Fee; it could be something for you to Explore;
    DJ Remixes are where you take a Track that has been Composed by another person and ‘Alter’ or ‘Vary’ the Production to make it your ‘Own’; for instance I have a ‘Salt ‘N’ Pepa’ Remix on my YouTube Channel that is just about to hit 30,000 Views; there is an ‘Unwritten Law’ that says that ‘as long as you don’t try to sell the Remix’ or ‘until you Sell 5,000 Copies’; there is No Reason why you need to gain Permission from the Original Artist to Remix their Material;
    Any further information you may need; Please ask 🙂

    Hello D-Jam :);
    I would Love to hear your Breaks Mix of ‘Orbital – Chime’ as that is my Favourite Record of All time 🙂

    Hello DJ Toto :);
    That is Really Cool that you have basically Mastered the way of Laying Down the Melodies and the Ideas that Pop into your head;
    That is a skill that i have Yet to Master so I Commend You; as I have Beats pretty much Mastered; but Melodies and Basslines are a little beyond me at the moment (as the Effort of picking my Keyboard up from the floor 12 inches away is too Great);;

    Hello Rob :);
    I have Followed you on Soundcloud today; and when I saw your Track ‘Peel On Punk’ I though ‘Yes :); there is going to be a Sample of John Peel talking about Punk Music’; but when the Track started I though ‘Awww I was wrong’; but then after 2 minutes in the Sample Came :D;

    Hello Alex :);
    I have Followed you on Soundcloud today; and am listening to your Tracks now :);
    Your Track ‘Chains’ is Glitch Heaven (even though I know you don’t class it as that); and I have Downloaded it Thank You 🙂

    Hello Tiago :);
    Many apologies for still not Understanding what you were doing at 3.50 onwards; even with your Track Listing that you have just Kindly Provided; I should take the time to actually find out what ‘Zero 76 – Tiesto & Hardwell’ sounds like; but your Transition from the First to the Second Track is to be Highly Commended as it is Exciting and Very Inspirational 🙂

    This looks like the Perfect place for you as you can Completely Design your Own vinyl Decals for the APC40; and they even have a Template in the picture that is within the link below;
    Unfortunately the Cost is around $49 so I wouldn’t know if that were in your Budget or not;

    in reply to: How Was Your First Gig? #857
    Emma Partnow

    I have to say that my First Live Gig was Awful :(;
    But maybe just putting it in writing may help Diminish the Memory a little;
    I was 14; and had been asked to DJ for my Sister’s Daughter’s Engagement Party;
    Trying to Avoid any Misunderstandings I had asked on at least 4 occasions for a list of their Favourite Tracks so I could include them; but nothing was forthcoming;
    So; for the First Hour I played an Ambient Set; which was received Incredibly Well;
    But around 40 minutes or so into my Main Set (which was Club Orientated); after I had played a Track that could have been Conceived as ‘Risque’; I began being approached/harrassed by Males who had taken Offence at the Track …
    I may as well say what it was – ‘Gillette – Short D*** Man’; – and things became Quite Ugly until I told them if they wanted me to play something else then they would have to supply it; which they did by going home and picking up some Complilation CD’s; which I then played until the night ended; it was quite Crazy really as 80% of what were on the Compilation CD’s were coming up later in my Set anyway; so it seemed a lot of Fuss for nothing really; had they initially read my Track Listing which was available;
    I was obvioulsy playing the Gig for Free; but wasn’t even Thanked by the Host; so I decided that I would Never play a ‘Family Gig’ ever again; and I am Pleased I have stuck to that; as the General Public are Much More Ameniable;
