Yeah i wouldnt rush anything. Took me a while to get comfortable using more samples/loops. Realistically each column in the remix deck is kind of like another deck, then when you have so much going on and thinking about whats going on next its a lot to take in at once.

Sometimes I jsut practice with the loops and one shots separety. When I make my own remix sets from other tracks I always make sure their in key so its easier to loop over playing tracks

Why can’t your style be a DJ that plays multiple genres? and maybe you shouldnt be so concerned with labelling yourself. Just do you and what feels natural to you. You dont have to switch genres each track, you can play a couple from each genre or remixes that everyone is familar with. I also wouldnt look at the music in terms of just genre. There is so much commonality between different types of music, you dont want to limit your self in that sense.

I know what you mean with getting bored sometimes when I track is playing but also keep in mind its because you’ve probably heard that track 305980358905 times already. I actually got the f1 and has helped me out alot with the remix decks in traktor. I always find myself dropping in loops and samples from other tracks to keep me entertained and to add something different to a set.

I have a book of notes that I go to quite often as well. You will notice the more you do it the less you have to check your book. I also just like havin it for future reference to look back at for more ideas If I’m stuck somewhere.

Lucifer, a once arch angel, who was by historical reference called – “Light Bearer.” Because of his jealously of god, got cast out of heaven for treason. 1/3 of all angels followed him, and he is a convincing figure. This 1/3 of damned angels actually act on their own volition, but follow Lucifer’s beliefs, total chaos. Lucifer, one of the highest angels, fled to earth because he wished to kill jesus 3 times, but failed. He still awaits for judgment day where he will again fail to defeat the pious and faithful, but he will still try.

Lucifer does not wish to be seen, he enjoys people not believing in him, thus the greatest trick he ever pulled.

just trust your instinct. The songs just may not go together at all. Even some tracks that are in the same key dont go for whatever reason…..different energy level, vibe, emotion etc; Dont force it if it doesnt work

as far as I know those are the two most popular ones I ‘ve been hearing about. I wouldnt say thier dj effect apps more so then they can control the effect that are already in traktor….and anythign else for that matter. Something I wanted to look into as well but theres only so much time in a day lol…one app at a time

I have the mini and I love it. May not be for everyone due to the size but I find it quite practical. I only use trakktor dj on it as far as DJ apps but I plan on exploring more apps later on. Its leightweight and you could toss it in any gig bag without hassle. Glad I bought it
