Thanks guys appreciate the support.
@DJ Peter – Apologies it might help if I elaborated on what kind of event this is going to be!It is shaping up to be quite a big House music event going on at a pub both outside and inside from 3pm all the way through to 11pm I believe with set times being in and around 45 minutes – 1 hour.
There are 6/7 DJs playing at the event so as you can imagine there will be a wide variety of House genres played looking to create summer vibes for the audience.
My biggest worry is trying to get the balance right between playing the right tracks to suit an opening set and keeping the audience interested. I guess this is something I will need to discuss with other DJ’s playing at the event to ensure no clashes/overdoing it.
Graham ScottParticipantThanks Vintage really appreciate the advice as always, its certainly made things a little clearer for me and what I thought was a bit of a gamble actually sounds like a win-win situation.
I’m hoping in the long run, should I take up the opportunity, experience may open up a few doors in the future.
Graham ScottParticipantHi All,
E9
An hour and a half mega mix made up of 24 tracks that have been included in the last 9 episodes.
Featuring a variety of Trance genres and artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Alex M.O.R.P.H and Markus Schulz
Graham ScottParticipantHi Everyone,
Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it.
I haven’t posted in a little while so thought I would update everyone on what I have been doing lately. Since my last post I have made 3 further episodes:
E6
E7
E8
As always, the feedback from everyone is greatly appreciated and if anyone would like me to include any particular trance tracks for E9, please leave a comment.
Graham ScottParticipantHi All,
Hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend
Pleased to give you my 5th episode tonight, features a couple of classics from both Chicane and Armin Van Buuren
Enjoy!
Graham ScottParticipantThanks Eugenio!
Yes I agree, for me when transitioning between two tracks, nothing beats a tight trance blend!
It would be great to hear any Trance suggestions for one of my next episodes!
Graham ScottParticipantSignum – Coming On Strong – Started taking an interst in music growing up during the era in which this was released, as most people probably did, first heard this during the Kevin and Perry film.
November 13, 2015 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Small Speakers for pre ds/house party (For an S4 MK2) #2293471Graham ScottParticipantHi Phil,
I would most likely just be using these speakers in and around the house/the house of the host so probably main areas for pre ds such as the kitchen/lounge/garage so wouldn’t be after something too powerful as I imagine there will be no more than 10 guests at a time.
Thanks for your help
Graham ScottParticipantThanks Terry, will have a look at this today 🙂
Graham ScottParticipantSubmitted, thanks 🙂
Graham ScottParticipantIf anyone would like to request any Trance to be featured in this week’s episode feel free to drop them here, would be great to have people from the forum’s be a part in the creation of my weekly eps.
If anyone is a trance producer and would like me to feature any material they have created, also feel free to get in touch!
Graham ScottParticipantThought I would throw in a bit of variety this week! Some older than others but ones I would still regards as classics in my eyes!
Fragma – Tocca’s Miracle (2000 version)

Label: Positiva
Format: Vinyl, 12″
Released: 10 Apr 2000
Genre: ElectronicPhats & Small – Turn Around
Ultrabeat – Pretty Green Eyes
Graham ScottParticipantThanks D-JAM yes I really rate ReOrder especially their track from last year Skyres that was a big one!
Graham ScottParticipantThanks Terry & D-JAM, great advice as always. I am planning to experiment with a few fx during my evenings this week to see what works and if I find anything that works, I will certainly try and throw it into my next mix and let you know how it goes!
I’d agree that I need to try and think outside the box a little more and add that extra spice to my sets/mixes.
At the moment, really been into AVB’s asot for the last year or so nearly and finding myself listening to FSOE a lot too and trying to pick up and listen to how and when transitions in tracks are taking place.
