Hot cues are awesome because they let you skip on over to a part of a song instantly. You can add these to the very first beat of a song so you can go right to the start every time (handy for beatmixing), or you can even add a hot cue at a key part in a song like the chorus / drop or the breakdown so you can jump to it anytime even while the track is playing, all without interrupting playback.
In this lesson I’ll show you how to colour code and label your hot cues in Rekordbox DJ. This makes them easier to spot whether you’re at home organising your DJ library or you’re out gigging.
