Serato has just released Serato DJ 1.1.2 into its download area, which adds support for the Pioneer WeGO, the Vestax VCI-400 / VCI-400DJ, and the Numark NS6 – the latter being the first Serato ITCH controller to get Serato DJ support. The update adds a few new features, too, including autoplay and mic/aux support through software for compatible controllers.
As usual, for Pioneer WeGO and Vestax VCI-400 owners, the price of the software is US$129, or US$199 with the video plugin. Numark NS6 owners receive the upgrade from ITCH for free.
Serato says support for other ITCH controllers (Numark NS7, Numark V7, Pioneer DDJ-S1, Vestax VCI-300, Vestax VCI-380 and Novation Twitch) is coming “in a gradual rollout this coming spring”.
Are you the owner of one of these controllers? Will you be moving across to Serato DJ? Are you the owner of one of the other ITCH controllers, patiently awaiting your turn? Please share your thoughts in the comments.
