Image-Line, creators of the FL Studio DAW, has just launched the FL Studio 20.1 update. The latest version features tweaks to speed up and simplify your music production workflow, including the ability to group Instrument Channel tracks, Playlist Tracks and Mixer Tracks together to organise your project. You can also now record straight to Playlist Tracks, plus you now have Stepsequencer Channel looping as well.
FL Studio continues to mature and grow in strength, adding new features and expanding its capabilities: this past year saw it become available on the Mac for the first time, which is big news for DJ/producers who have always wanted to try it out, and Akai Pro released the Fire controller which is the first ever hardware control surface meant for the DAW.
